I happened to be in New Mexico this past weekend, so I stopped in and photographed Jackson’s MMA Series XVII at Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The series is a mix of amateur and professional bouts, and this weekend even included an exhibition match to be later televised as part of a show on the Discovery Channel with Todd Sampson. I walked around a bit and grabbed a few post-fight portraits of some of the fighters and in general, had a lot of fun just shooting a solid, well-produced local show.
