Okay. I’ve been challenged to post here every day for thirty days since we’ve been assholes and so so absent. And I wasn’t going to take it on, since I’m leaving town for the holidays right in the middle of this thirty day stretch and because I don’t want to post on New Years’ Eve […]
Last night, I witnessed the end of an era and the beginning of another. I remember years ago, sitting with Antonio Silva and his manager Alex Davis in Corpus Christi, Texas in the lobby of a Holiday Inn, them telling me that Silva would beat Fedor. I’m happy and proud of Silva for his achievement […]
Fight week is coming to a close as we pass midnight here in East Rutherford, New Jersey. And I am so excited about this tournament. Maybe it’s because I really like saying Grand Prix. It sounds sophisticated. Also, it’s fucking great. This week has been a good chance to meet a lot of fans and […]
WHOA!!!!! That’s really all I have to say. Great fights. Wow. You saw it. Yowzers.
This week is zooming by! Suddenly we’re creepin’ up on weigh-ins and I’ve been here in San Jose all week! Today was the presser, yesterday was the open workout. Here are the photos. Let’s just get down to business.
This is the last of it. Well, it’s not all of it, because of UFC credential/photo restrictions, but you can always check out the work at Fanhouse. This collection covers from my first gig for Strikeforce in June on through the end of the year, culminating with Strikeforce: Evolution. Thrown in at random are some […]
Continuing with our favorite images from 2009, I thought I’d put a break in the middle of the year to highlight the part of my job that I had the hardest time learning, since I didn’t come from a photography background. Studio. Working with Strikeforce has enabled me to spend time with many fighters on […]
My week at Strikeforce: Fedor vs Rogers began with a visit to Soldier Field for the Chicago Bears vs Cleveland Browns game with the main event fighters, then sightseeing around Chicago with The Last Emperor and his posse. Here is a gallery of my favorite images from the week including my favorite studio shots.
Because I’m still organizing files and thoughts, here’s photos from the post fight press conference. My favorite is the one of Fedor while he listens, a blurry image of Brett Rogers behind him, and caught flash as light source.
Our good friend Julia Lillis wrote this lovely song about her favorite lovable teddy bear of a fighter, Fedor Emelianenko. We hope you like it!
New highlight reel video by Genghis Con of the dominant heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko. This is a must watch for all MMA fans and all Phil Collins fans.
