It’s Thanksgiving weekend here in the States and we’ve just returned home from Montreal, Canada. There’s so much to be thankful for as an MMA fan. UFC 154 culminated in raw energy and emotion colliding before the seventeen thousand fans at the Bell Center. I’m grateful for fighters fighting with their hearts out, for letting me capture that sincerity of motion and life.
Casey and I bring you the second installment of our Focus series (henceforth being renamed Elbow Cuts) were I discuss my favorite images from our week in Montreal. The return of Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva hanging around all week– there was definitely a lot of tension and goings-on despite whatever you might’ve heard or felt about a diminished hype for UFC 154.
We’re proud to present this video slideshow, even though my voice is exhausted and badly recorded in a dining room at 3 am (and then 8 am) after 10 hours on planes. Casey is now going to get mad at me for making excuses and pre-apologizing. But I am honestly happy and grateful to share these images with you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
