We stayed busy while UFC took its six week hiatus that I like to refer to as “tax time,” by going to Albuquerque and hiking Chaco Canyon, and trying to keep up with events in Los Angeles.

This past weekend Casey and I shot the Samurai MMA Pro event (some amateurs opened the night) at the picturesque Avalon in Hollywood.  The main event featured Kevin Casey vs Reggie Orr and Fabricio Werdum, Rafael Cordeiro, Renato Babalu Sobral, and Cristiane “Cyborg” were also in attendance.

We decided to have a little fun and we hope you enjoy taking a look at some solid local MMA from our home city of Los Angeles.
