Backstage with Mauro Ranallo

We shot this video just a couple of hours before Strikeforce: Houston for AOL Fanhouse/MMAfighting.com, interview conducted by Ariel Helwani, as part of the “Backstage” series. If you get one thing out of this video, it should be that Mauro really does sound like that all the time.  But most importantly, it’s nice to hear someone with a mental disorder speak frankly about the subject and his treatment — and see that Mauro’s succeeded in spite of it all. We’ve really enjoyed putting these together and can’t wait to bring you more in the future.

Thanks a lot for sharing this. These interviews are awesome. Similar to the Joe Rogan interview, it’s always interesting to dive into the what’s going on in the heads of the announcers. Sometimes you forget that these guys at the core are just fans and are lucky enough to call some amazing fights.
