Fanhouse: Aldo vs Faber Fight Night
Fanhouse: Aldo vs Faber Fight Night

Killer, right?  Great night of fights, good loud crowd, and I did pretty swell too.  I have never shot more photos in one fight than during Leonard Garcia vs Chan Sung Jung.  It was nonstop action, ridiculous, really.  I was already super hyped to see the Zombie make his US debut and even happier that [...]

WEC Fight Week
WEC Fight Week

Hey y’all. I’m in Sacramento covering WEC 48: Aldo vs Faber for the awesome AOL Fanhouse / mmafighting.com and I just wanted to share the galleries I’ve shot for them over there.

Fight Night in Smashville
Fight Night in Smashville

I’ll tell you how my Saturday night went. I shot three great victories in Strikeforce and they were overshadowed by well, you know. Whatever about how you think the fights went — I saw three underdogs win, three lower ranked fighters beat the odds and beat their opponents in dominating fashion.

Welcome to Smashville
Welcome to Smashville

Fight week in Nashville. Here for Strikeforce and I’m super thrilled for Saturday’s stacked fight card. Three championship fights! It’s gonna be sweet.

Here’s my favorite shots of this week so far.

Training Camp: Dan Henderson
Training Camp: Dan Henderson

Time for another installment of our video series for AOL Fanhouse, Training Camp.  We went out to Team Quest in Temecula to shoot legend Dan Henderson as he prepares to challenge  Jake Shields for the Strikeforce middleweight title this Saturday in Nashville. Thanks again to Indecision Records! And here’s a few photos from the evening [...]

King Mo: Journey to the Crown
King Mo: Journey to the Crown

We present to you another All Elbows video, sandwiched between our travels to a land full of dudes also named Muhammed and back to Nashville for the Strikeforce on CBS megacard. King Mo is contending for the Strikeforce light heavyweight title against champion Gegard Mousasi this Saturday on CBS.

UFC 112 Fight Night
UFC 112 Fight Night

So you probably all saw that crazy fight, probably in part due to the amount of arms waving and heads shaking after the live broadcast. UFC 112 was really great though, I mean, some weird decisions, obviously some bad fights, but some amazing fights, and really interesting crowd. The crowd, at one point in the [...]

Abu Dhabi Update
Abu Dhabi Update

More images from UFC 112 event week in Abu Dhabi for MMAFighting.com.  We’re gettin’ closer and closer to the fights!  Today, we toured the Ferrari World concert arena built in the recent weeks (the Octagon being built in two hours this morning). This is from the press conference at the ridiculously beautiful Yas Hotel.  It [...]

Sweatin’ in Abu Dhabi
Sweatin' in Abu Dhabi

Made it all the way to Abu Dhabi for MMAFighting.com and after a day of wandering about the city’s mall in search of mosquito repellant and electrical adapters, I got to shoot today.  UFC held a media workout for Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, Frankie Edgar, Renzo Gracie, and Terry Etim showed up too. There were [...]

Greenscreen + New Studio
Greenscreen + New Studio

Completely forgot to share these.  The day after Strikeforce: Nashville held the LA media workout, we continued the Showtime crew’s feature shoot for the broadcast with greenscreen on the CBS studio lot.  Between setups, I shot new studio work of the fighters in the main events, and ridiculous number of photos of Aoki since I [...]

UFC 111 for AOL Fanhouse
UFC 111 for AOL Fanhouse

Went to UFC 111 immediately following Strikeforce: Challengers in FresYes, and shot until my eyes fell out.  I held up surprisingly well for three hours of bad airplane sleep.  I’ll give the credit to a pretty swell media dinner and the company of my “team” at mmafighting.com / AOL Fanhouse. Thanks a ton to Mike [...]
